ENTREPASS Procedures

• Aspiring business entrepreneurs, who wish to start a new company / business and who will be actively involved in the operation of the company / business in Singapore, can apply for an Employment Pass under the ‘EntrePass scheme of Singapore’.
• Along with EntrePass application, entrepreneurs will have to submit a detailed business plan.
• The application processing time is usually 2-3 weeks.
• If the application is successful, entrepreneurs will normally be issued with an EntrePass that is valid for one/ two years.
• The EntrePass allows the entrepreneurs to bring their spouse and kids to Singapore to reside with them.
• The EntrePass is renewable for as long as the business remains viable. Entrepreneurs are also eligible to apply for a permanent residence in Singapore after approval of ENTREPASS
• The business plan and other supporting documents play a significant role in the process of obtaining EntrePass

Documents Required:

• Copies of educational certificates
• Copies of past employment testimonials
• A recent passport-sized photograph
• A copy of the passport
• Banker's Guarantee of S$3,000 to be furnished by the applicant after the application is approved
•Other documents such as Club Memberships, awards, licences, audited accounts, achievements, catalogues, pricelists etc.,
• A copy of the Singapore N.R.I.C/Pass Card of relatives and family if applicable
• If your spouse is a Singapore citizen/PR/EP holder, provide a copy of his/her education, experience documents

EMPLOYMENT PASS

Entrepreneurs can also apply for an EMPLOYMENT PASS. This is open to all entrepreneurs, professionals, managing directors and shareholders of companies who want to work in Singapore. Once you have incorporated your company in Singapore, you will be entitled to apply for the Employment pass. Through this, you can work and stay in Singapore for up to two years. Employment Pass types
P Pass/Q Pass

The three categories of Employment Pass: P1, P2 and Q Pass.
Foreigners seeking professional, managerial or executive and specialist jobs can avail of the P Pass.
• P1 Pass – for applicants earning a fixed monthly salary of more than $7,000.
• P2 Pass – for applicants earning a fixed monthly salary of more than $3,500 and up to $7,000 and he/she possesses recognised qualifications.
• Q Pass – for applicants earning a fixed monthly salary of more than $2,500 and possessing recognised qualifications, degrees, experience or specialist skills.
